“ This place never misses! Our gotos are the chicken over rice and beef stir fry with noodles. Very delicious! We try to come here every time we make a trip to Dallas. ”
“ UPDATE 7062024 We went back during lunch. It wasnt crowded so the service was wonderful. Our food was good. However, they put the cart of all the dirty dishes next to us. I know this place is tiny, but I hope they rectify this and put it elsewhere, away from the customers eating. Overall, we will definitely return. We were looking forward to some good Korean food as I was craving noodles. The pictures of this restaurant looked really appealing on Google. Inside, it was tiny but had cute decor. As soon as we sat down, the waiter told us to use the selfordering system on the table, which I thought was pretty cool. However, the tablet was really slow. My husband ordered the galbi, which came on top of clear glass noodles. It was a huge portion and came out quickly, but it was tasteless and chewy. They only offered one side of kimchi banchan, which was disappointing because every other Korean restaurant Ive been to offers at least four banchan. I ordered the spicy cold noodle soup, but it never arrived. After waiting for almost 30 minutes, I decided to cancel the order. This restaurant looked promising, but Im giving it 1 star right now because the galbi was chewy and flavorless, and they only provided one side of banchan. I plan to return to try their noodle dishes and will update my review then. ”
“ We ordered a combo of Beef Kooksoo and bulgogi. The size was decent for the price. It didnt entirely fulfill two people but we were pretty hungry. Both dishes were delicious. We will come back when we want hot soup. ”
“ This is arguably one of the best if not the best authentic Korean restaurants in the DFW area. I love their soups, their broth is just something different, and their bulgogi is absolutely delicious. If you want to experience true Korean delicacies, come to Kooksoo. You will certainly be satisfied and be able to walk out happy. ”
“ Tried this place for the first time, it did not disappoint! I got the lobster seafood jjamppong this was my first time ever trying it and it was delicious! The only thing I will say is I wish they had spicier options, I got the most spicy option and it wasnt at all. The portions are huge, definitely go on an empty stomach. Although you order through a tablet, the service was still great. I payed attention to the little things, I was eating solo and balancing my phone up and they brought me a phone stand without me asking, refilled my water without asking, and brought me napkins without asking as well. Id definitely come here again! ”
“ The stir fried noodles with beef was incredibly delicious. I very much enjoyed my meal. The amount of spiciness was just right. You order through a tablet which was very convenient. The worker was very knowledgeable and talked us through the menu. My accomplice who does not really like kimchi thought it was good as did I. We came in very close to their lunch time, but we were still accommodated. I will be back ”
“ Good Korean food, my experience would be better if the side dishes like kimchi were served together with the kooksoo. ”
“ Great Korean restaurant. The Korean Fried Dumplings are really good. They have a great fried texture. My GF thinks that the Bulgolgi is the best in Plano and I agree. Im not as much a fan of Korean noodle soups as other noodle soups, but they do taste good here. We got The Beef Kooksoo combo. The meat, vegetables, and broth all tasted good. The combos come with either Bulgolgi or LA Galbi for extra and a drink or rice which is a nice deal. Update The short rib is also delicious. The restaurant is very clean. You order on tablets which is convenient and they bring out food pretty quickly. ”
